About Rocky

Dennis “Rocky” Dikowski is a retired carpenter and Vietnam War veteran from Hopatcong, New Jersey. Rocky started building rods in the late 70’s as a hobby, making them for his own personal use and for his friends. His rods have are not only efficient on the water, but also have custom snakeskin decorations that make them visually appealing as well. Rocky’s rods have received so much praise and acclaim from those who use them that he decided to offer his services to the world, thus Rocky’s Rods was born.

Rock has been fishing for over 50 years, and in that time has done it all in terms of rods and fish. He prefers fresh-water fishing, going after trout, walleye, muskies, and bass. A resident of Hopatcong, he fishes Lake Hopatcong by boat, as well as the local streams for trout. Rocky not only makes every type of rod, he uses every type of rod as well. He’s been fishing since his teen years, and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.
